In a partnership with the Franklin Downtown Partnership five Franklin Art Association artists completed a permanent art installation in downtown Franklin in the summer of 2021.

The artists designed and painted a total of seven floral themed murals that were installed in the alley between 15 and 17 East Central Street. 

The Ferrara family that owns the building has fully sponsored the project. There is lighting over each mural that brightens the alley after dark. Flower Alley is also a feature on the Lady Bug Trail with several of the murals having lady bugs on them.
