The Senior Center a large building located diagonally across from the town common and across from St. Mary’s Church (directions). Meetings are free and open to the public, with a short business meeting starting at 6:45 PM and the demonstration immediately following.

Start off the new year with a bang – or, a flash? Come to our January 5th meeting for a session with Ronald Zincone, an award-winning photographer based out of North Kingston, RI. Ronald is a continuing education student in the Photography program at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP). Ronald’s work spans a variety of subjects from classic New England shores to astrophotography. The Franklin Art Association will hold a special holiday get-together on Wednesday, December 1st, 7:00 PM at the Franklin Senior Center. Members and guests are invited to bring a piece or two of their own artwork to share, and to spend the evening painting or drawing in a group. Painting ideas will be shared in a congenial, social atmosphere with holiday music playing and special snacks. Association meetings are open to the public. Come and see what your local artists are doing!
